   Contesting is my main interest in ham radio, particulary CC Contests. My last rig was the IC756pro111. Only had the IC7600 for one week but already sold on it. The noise reduction is fantastic much improved on the pro111. In the SSB contest last Monday evening the qrm was horrendous, but the rig performed very well indeed. My normal score in ssb is about 100, on Monday I worked 125. I was able to copy weak signals due to the roofing filters, which normally would have been impossible due to out of pass band signals holding the agc ,.I look forward to the next cw contest which is may favourite mode.
   This rig gives value for money.
